Ralston Chinchilla Ranch

It all started with a child's prayer. 

Seven year old Jacob prayed every night for two months that he could have a pet chinchilla for his birthday.  After lots of research on the care and temperment of a chinchilla we located a breeder who we found to be ethical and responsible.  After a short trip to her Ranch (a 10 hour drive)  Jacob was surprised with not one but two chinchillas on his birthday.   We knew within a couple of days that two was just not enough for our house so we decided to add a few more.  We then consulted with the breeder about starting a hobby breeding program.  She agreed to take us under her wing and mentor us through the experience of breeding and our journey began.

The quality and health of our chinchillas is our TOP priority.  We will only breed chinchillas that are in excellent health (no breedbacks), are show quality, genetically sound and have good temperments.  We strive to provide the optimal chinchilla for either a household pet or show table.  We have carefully selected our foundation animals from some of the top ranchers in the industy and are as pleased with their accomplishments as we are endeared by their personalities.  All of our breeding chinchillas are posted on our herd page.  Kits and adults for sale will be listed on our available for adoption page.
